Van Gogh Museum
Review
The Van Gogh Museum is an art museum in Amsterdam, Netherlands, featuring the works of the Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh and his contemporaries. It has the largest collection of Van Gogh's paintings and drawings in the world. (...) (from Wikipedia).
Vincent Van Gogh, the most famous Dutch painter, and one of the world's greatest, died over a hundred years ago, at the age of 37, without having sold even one painting in his lifetime. The Van Gogh Museum, one of the biggest, newest and most beautiful in the city, has been showing for a few years now a terrific sequence of exhibits and shows, attracting art lovers from around the world. Adjacent to the main building is a changing exhibition wing – this white snail-shaped structure was designed by Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa, and is one of the most interesting buildings in the city.
