Big Ben Review

Big Ben is the nickname for the great bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster in London, and is generally extended to refer to the clock or the clock tower as well. Some believe this extension to be incorrect, but its usage is now entirely commonplace (...) (from Wikipedia).
These buildings are where the British House of Commons and House of Lords reside. The entire structure was erected in 1840. Its best known feature is the clock tower known as Big Ben, which has served for over a hundred years as one of London's most famous symbols. The main hall is called Westminster Hall. It was established back in the 11th century and is currently the oldest part of the building. For about five hundred years, until the 16th century, this palace had served as the residence of England's monarchs.
