Day 1 22nd June, Saturday...
 Settle in and explore the immediate area.

Day 2 23rd June, Sunday...Take a boat tour to Como and catch the funicular to Brunate.
Situated just a short distance away from the Centre of Como near the eastern side of the lake.  It cost €5.25 for a return ticket (Sept 2012), runs regularly and takes just 7 minutes to reach the top.
Explore Como

Day 3 24th June, Monday...Day trip to Lugano in Switzerland.  Catch bus from Menaggio (10E round trip).  
Rick Steves Switzerland has a walk route in Lugano.

Day 4 25th June, Tuesday...visit Varenna if not done so already or relax/swim at a beach or by the lake.
Depart for Tirano Wednesday 26th June.
