The global headquarters of the Greenpeace organization were situated in this prestigious Amsterdam house until 2004. The building, still bearing the organization's name, was constructed in 1905, and is considered one of the prettiest examples of Art Nouveau in the city. Originally, the house was built for a big insurance company, and in the façade you can still see a guardian angel holding an insurance policy. The entrance and visit to the house are free of charge.
