Zagórze is the biggest, northern-most district of Sosnowiec, totally transformed with building the Huta Katowice (expanded, reached as far as Klimontów). Until 1975, it was a separate town in Będzin county. It is Edward Gierek's place of birth. (from Wikipedia)
