Day 1: Seville to Granada
On the morning of the fourth day, we shall drive from Seville to Granada. This is the longest driving part in the route, a distance of 260km. The way is very simple – along the A92 highway. This is a good highway, passing through the towns of El Araha, Estepa and Loja. This ride takes about three hours.
In the afternoon, it is recommended that you dedicate some time to a visit in the Cathedral and Capilla Real. Later on in the day, it is possible to tour and shop in the streets of Granada. The main streets to visit at the city's center are Calle de Elvira, Calle de San Jeronimo and Calle de Arandas.
POI's:Day 2: Granada
The Alhambra Palace and Generalife Gardens are considered to be the most impressive, important and beautiful attraction in Andalusia, and perhaps in the whole of Spain. In light of this, it makes sense to visit these towards the end of the tour. Everything you see after the Alhambra pales in comparison. If you are with a car, it is best to you drive it up to the Alhambra entrance gate, at the city's eastern end (about one kilometer from the city's center, and across the river). There is a large parking complex here. You should order places in advance for the Alhambra tour, as due to the great visitor demand, the number of visitors to the site is now restricted. In the afternoon, it is possible to arrive at the tour's end point. If you have a flight from Seville, you can take a train from Granada to Seville. If you need to return a leased car in Córdoba, you can leave Granada in the afternoon, and drive to Córdoba. If you drive there directly, it is a 160km drive in regular roads, and 235km on the highway. The ride takes between two and a half and three hours.
