Approximately 12 million international visitors plan a trip to Bangkok every year, making Thailand’s capital city one of the most popular tourist destinations in Southeast Asia.
Most visitors arrive at one of the city’s two major airports, Suvarnbhumi to the east of the city center and Don Muang to the north. From here, there are a host of transport options to explore the city, including buses, taxis, trains, water buses, and tuk-tuks, which are motorized rickshaws.
